With his stunning catch, Vijay Shankar managed to dismiss the star Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga on Sunday, March 30, at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati. On the first ball of the over, Ravindra Jadeja bowled full and in the slot ball to Hasaranga, who went for a big slog-sweep. The Sri Lanka all-rounder hit the ball low, which made catching very difficult but Vijay Shankar put in an athletic dive and grabbed a sensational catch. He said: “Yeah, they need to (step up), if the conditions are like what they played last time. And in the last game, Theekshana hasn’t bowled at his best.
