Shardul Thakur was the most experienced bowler in the squad and took two wickets in his first over. However, he wasn’t given a chance to bowl another over. Rishabh Pant handed the ball to the inexperienced Prince Yadav when DC needed 22 from the last two overs. Yadav conceded 16 runs, including two fours and a six, which shifted the momentum in DC’s favor. Pant backed spinner Shahbaz Ahmed for the final over.
