The left-arm spinner, on Thursday (March 28), cleaned up the dangerous Liam Livingstone just after having a small chat with MS Dhoni during the match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The incident took place at the beginning of the 16th over when Noor Ahmad was getting ready to deliver the over. Just before the start of the over, MS Dhoni was seen advising the Afghanistan spinner and it paid off immediately. On the first ball of the over, Rajat Patidar took a single before Livingstone hit Noor Ahmad for a six on the second ball. However, the CSK spinner had the last laugh as he castled the England star on the following delivery. The right-handed batsman moved leg-side in order to make room for himself. The RCB batter could not make any contact with the ball and was clean bowled. Dhoni was also seen patting Noor on his shoulder after the wicket. Livingstone departed after scoring 10 runs off 9 balls. The young spinner has maintained an upper hand in his rivalry against Livingstone so far. Noor has bowled 21 deliveries to the England allrounder so far and has dismissed him four times while conceding 27 runs. Meanwhile, Noor has enjoyed yet another brilliant outing with the ball for CSK in the ongoing IPL. In the first game of the season for his team, he picked up 4 wickets against Mumbai Indians. In the ongoing game against RCB, he finished his spell with 3 wickets for 36 runs. He is currently the Orange Cap holder in IPL 2025.
