The massive security breach happened in the IPL 2025 opener between the Rajat Patidar-led Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and the Ajinkya Rahane-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday, March 22. The incident unfolded when Virat Kohli was batting with Rajat Patidar as the fan suddenly came in running towards Kohli and fell on his feet and then hugged him.
