Tamim Iqbal suffers 2 heart attacks while playing a match, put on life support

Former captain Tamim Iqbal was immediately hospitalized during the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League 2025 match between Mohammedan Sporting Club and Shinepukur Cricket Club. The incident occurred when Tamim Iqbal was fielding while playing for Mohammedan Sporting Club during the first innings of the match. He is also the captain of his side and it will be a big blow for his team. Tamim Iqbal urgently hospitalized It is believed that Tamim Iqbal felt some chest pain midway during the game and it was immediately decided to rush him to the hospital. A helicopter was also arranged to save time but he could not be flown from the venue which is located in Savar.
