The mandatory six-month cooling-off period was also waived in the case. As per reports, they were also living separately since 2022 and finally filed for divorce last month. The reason has been revealed by senior Indian journalist, Vickey Lalwani. Dhanashree, who is a choreographer, is associated with the entertainment business and wanted to stay in Mumbai. And it eventually led to the couple’s separation. Real Reason out in the public Taking to his Instagram account, Lalwani stated that a source has revealed that a key point of contention arose when Dhanashree insisted that Chahal relocate from his hometown in Haryana to Mumbai. The cricketer and his former wife failed to find a common ground due to their different personalities. Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree had initially settled in Haryana after their marriage and would visit Mumbai only when necessary. However, things started taking a turn for the worse when Dhanashree proposed that the couple relocate to Mumbai permanently. Chahal not convinced by Dhanashree’s proposal Chahal was not at all impressed with the proposal and turned it down. He decided to stay with his family in Haryana. The journalist also added that Chahal not only rejected the proposal but also found it unreasonable. Chahal and Dhanashree tried to find a solution, but their efforts were in vain.
